For over 40 years, the Individual Studies Program has empowered students to design their own academic paths and turn bold ideas into real careers. Our graduates have gone on to lead in entertainment, technology, public service, music, and beyond.

Pixar Animation Studios
Bob Moyer
Computer Graphics, 2000
Bob served as the character and sets supervisor for Pixar's Academy Award-winning film Inside Out. He has credited IVSP for supporting and encouraging his creative major and innovative, interdisciplinary work. Bob has returned to campus multiple times to share his experiences with current students.

Grammy-Nominated Songwriter and Producer
Kevin Kadish
Music Management, 1993
Kevin co-wrote and produced the 2014 hit "All About That Bass," which topped charts worldwide and earned multiple Grammy nominations. His IVSP major in Music Management gave him the interdisciplinary foundation to bridge the creative and business sides of the music industry.

Forbes 30 Under 30, Clarendon Scholar at Oxford
Erik Martin
New Media and Global Civics, 2016
Erik was named to Forbes's 30 Under 30 for Games in 2018 for his work designing outreach programs at Unity. He also received a fully-funded Clarendon Scholarship from Oxford University to pursue a Master's degree in Social Science of the Internet.

Hudson Taylor
Interactive Performance Art, 2010
Hudson founded Athlete Ally, a nationally recognized nonprofit dedicated to ending homophobia in sports and encouraging respect towards LGBT athletes. His organization has partnered with colleges and professional sports leagues across the country. Hudson received the UGST Distinguished Alumni Award in 2012.
