Advising Requirements

Once admitted to Individual Studies, you must:

• Complete mandatory advising sessions with IVSP staff every semester to review your semester-by-semester plan for completion of your IVSP major;
• Complete the General Education requirements, if not already completed;
• Complete the required IVSP Courses: IVSP317, IVSP420, as well as the Writing Craft Course.
• Earn a grade of C- or better in all courses required in your IVSP curriculum;
• Participate in at least three IVSP events per year for every year you are enrolled in IVSP. (Such events include IVSP professional development workshops, service events,
  and networking gatherings.)

Useful Exception to Policy Forms:

• Change of Curriculum Form: If you find you cannot take one of your required courses, you will need to officially replace it in your program by turning in this form signed to the IVSP office along with a justification of the change.
