Internships: Junior Tennis Champions Center

Study Abroad: I am an international student from Russia.

Fellowships/Scholarships: Full athletic scholarhsip

Extracurricular Activities: I represent the University of Maryland on the Varsity Women's Tennis team. I participate in charity and community outreach events organized by the University of Maryland Athletic Department including the "Terps Got Talent" show which has raised $3,500 to benefit the Children's National Health System in Washington, D.C., and the Terps visit to the YMCA in Baltimore, where I served as a mentor to educate children on the importance of edication and sports in their lives.

IVSP Experience: I am very thankful for the help and support that I have found at every step in the IVSP program. Choosing to create my own major was one of the best decisions I have made since I came to the University of Maryland. I have the opportunity to study exactly what I like and broaden my knowledge on the issues in the world and in sport, which I care a lot about. The Sport and Society major has opened doors to new experiences and internships and I believe it will be a big asset for me in the future.
